Frequently Asked Questions

A complete dental implant process typically takes 3-6 months from start to finish. After implant placement, there's a 3–4-month healing period before the final crown is attached. If you need an extraction or bone grafting, this may extend the timeline. Don't worry about going without teeth during this process - we'll provide you with a temporary crown or denture throughout your treatment.

The best solution depends on your specific situation, which is why we recommend starting with a consultation.
We offer a solution called a “Full Fixed”, which is a full arch denture retained by 4-6 implants that are held permanently in place. We also offer "snap-in" alternatives.
A standard overdenture is removable and works well for patients with insufficient bone for implants.
Ultimately, since each case is unique and options may be limited by individual factors, a thorough evaluation helps us determine the most suitable solution for you.

Good oral hygiene is very important for keeping your implants and dentures stable and comfortable for the long term.
Dentures:
If your dentures are removable, clean them daily with a soft toothbrush
Soak them in water or a cleaning solution, especially overnight
Handle them carefully to avoid damage
Attend regular check-ups to ensure they continue to fit properly
For dental implants and crowns:
Brush twice daily, just as you would natural teeth
Maintain regular flossing
Use a WaterPik for additional cleaning
Keep up with regular check-ups
Avoid hard or sticky foods that could damage your restoration
Experience dentistry differently
